NGO Little People of Kosova is multiethnic nonprofit organization.
Purpose and Objectives:
NGO Little People of Kosovo aims to promote the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities and minorities. It serves to protect and ensure the full enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms of persons with disabilities and minorities, their dignity and participation as equal members of society. The organization promotes positive attitudes to minorities of persons with disabilities and seeks to protect them from discrimination, violence and abuse. NGO Little People of Kosovo promotes freedom of expression and opinion, and access to information. It also aims to focus on women and children with disabilities of minorities. In addition, the organization seeks to encourage the participation of persons with disabilities of minorities in cultural life, recreation, leisure and sport. Furthermore, it promotes international cooperation and multi-ethnic co-operation of all communities living in Kosovo with regard to minorities of persons with disabilities. NGO Little People of Kosovo aims to make the public more sensitive toward minorities of persons with disabilities in Kosovo society.
Little People of Kosova works in coalition with other national and international organizations for and of persons with disabilities and minorities to promote implementation Anti Discrimination Law and new Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities through full participation, equalization of opportunity and development.
Development the authentic culture of persons with disabilities pointed to human rights and foster young talents of persons with disabilities is one of goals the Little People of Kosova.
